Lifeway, the publisher for Southern Baptist Covention, is continuing its growth in publishing Bible study resources. Published through Lifeway, Beth Moore’s women’s Bible studies are very popular. Well, they also have several different publications for various small group Bible study applications. One of these such studies is done through Lifeway’s “Threads” department. “Threads,” as Lifeway calls it, is a ministry aiming at producing study resources for 20 to 30 something age groups. These studies consist of ongoing Sunday lesson publications as well as short term small group study booklets and kits. In the following video Ed Stetzer, the president of Lifeway’s research center, sums up the passion behind the Threads writing ministry.

As you probably discerned from the video, the ministry of Threads aims to reach this young church-declining generation with a critical and relevant message. Having personally studied through a couple of the Threads’ short term booklets, I can attest to their usefulness. Each of these studies is well grounded in Scripture, relatable in its draw toward application, and relevant in its use of media references. There is a certain no-nonsense approach that each study implements in its draw towards the study of critical topics and Bible passages.

These Threads resources are only available through Lifeway directly, so I have included their link for your convenience below. I would highly recommend the use of these studies for your personal devotion or group session time. For those who would use these studies as group leaders, Lifeway has an entire Group Kit available complete with Leader’s Guide and DVD.
